Q: Does Small Amounts receive any money from this fundraising effort?
A: No. This site exists simply to encourage everyone to contribute what they can. Once you select your charity and donation amount, your donation is processed entirely by Paypal. 100% of your donation will go to the charity of your choice.

Q: Why use Paypal?
A: Many people have Paypal accounts already, which makes it a convenient way to donate. Also, the Paypal site set up a donation area, wherein they listed a wide range of charities to choose from. We found it nice that people could choose the charity which matters most to them. And lastly, you can choose to donate whatever amount you’d like, small or big. Please read our Paypal page for more information.

Q: Do I have to have a Paypal account?
A: Yes. However, if you don’t have a Paypal account right now, you can still begin the donation process right here on Small Amounts by selecting your charity and dollar amount to donate. Then, on Paypal, you can set up a new account, which eventually involves providing a credit card or tying in to your bank account. Q: Do I have to provide my name, email, or any other information?
A: At your option, you may enter your name, or a designee, at the time you make your donation. For example, some people like to write “Mary A.” as their name so as to protect their identity. You may also choose to enter your company name, club name, kid’s name, etc. We do not as ask for your email or any other information.
